I haven't read your urban plants article yet, but I was impressed by this. One of the reasons that people love towns and cities is their diversity - new people, places to sit, to eat, to while away the night. Then we look at the non-humans that we want to encourage and assume the we know just what they want. Almost all of the time we have no idea who we are sharing that space with, yet we think we can plan out how to encourage it.

Now on to urban plants
